"maaro! maaro saala ko" rough translation - (beat him, beat the bugger)

This chant was used in Hindi class, the teacher would threaten to hit a student and the class would start chanting (first low chants and then built to a cresendo) "Maaro, Maaro saala ko", the teacher always let the culprit go and continued with the class...he knew that he'd loose eitherway - if he hit the student, the class got what they asked for, if he let the student go, the class didn't care and the student got away.
reverse psychology at it's best!!
